The load that must be moved on the conveyor determines the type of roller to be used. The length and material of the roller is defined as well as the type of bearing that it should carry.
Sealed Trolley
The sealed trolley is the principal equipment in the transportation and handling of fruits inside the plantation. Its high wear resistance as its free maintenance system allows huge savings in the day to day production.
Conventional Trolley
The Conventional Trolley is used for non-severe applications. It is offered in 2 1/4 and 2 1/2 inch diameter wheels.
The load moves over the rollers by gravity or by men force. In other words, products are moved over conveyors between different points that can be at level or at different heights. In case of different heights, the load is simply placed at one end of the conveyor and by gravity it will move to the other end.
The Mechanized systems take advantage of the power generated by an engine to move the surface of the conveyor. The surface could be either a belt or a live roller. These systems allow to automate handling as well as to make more efficient and faster the movement of the loads. They allow to establish a work rhythm in the different process stations allocated along the conveyor.
Our company, Equipos El Prado S.A., was established in 1978. Since our beginning the main activity of our company has been the production and distribution of material handling equipment bananas. Our products have found great acceptance in Central America, South America, the Caribbean, Mexico, Africa, and Philippines.
Even though our principal market has been the banana companies our products have been if great benefit to cacao, flowers and wood producers. Also our conveyors are used in bottling and food packaging companies.

Our manufacturing equipment includes CNC machinery, automatic cutting equipment, galvanizing process, roller assembly machinery and precision tools. Our engineering department is equipped with software and workstations, which allows designing and planning in a shorter time.
Our selected raw material allow us to ensure the quality and presentation of our products and spare parts.
